According to History.com, Ward Hill Lamon, Abraham Lincoln’s former law partner, friend and sometime bodyguard—told a famous story about the 16th U.S. president’s premonition of his own death. According to the tale, just a few days before his assassination on April 14, 1865, Lincoln shared a recent dream with a small group that included his wife, Mary Todd, and Lamon. In it, he walked into the East Room of the White House to find a covered corpse guarded by soldiers and surrounded by a crowd of mourners. When Lincoln asked one of the soldiers who had died, the soldier replied, “The president. He was killed by an assassin.” (Interestingly, Lincoln supposedly later insisted to Lamon that the body on display was not his own—so he himself did not view the dream as a portent of his own demise.) Some historians have cast doubt on Lamon’s account, which was first published in the 1880s, nearly 20 years after the assassination. Though Lamon claimed to have reconstructed the incident based on notes he made in 1865, it does seem odd that neither he nor Mary Lincoln mentioned the dream right after the president’s murder.

Even if Lamon’s story isn’t true, Abraham Lincoln was apparently quite interested in the meaning of dreams and what they have to say about future events both positive and negative. Proof of his curiosity lies in an 1863 letter to his wife, who at the time was in Philadelphia with their 10-year-old son, Tad. Lincoln writes that Mary had better “put Tad’s pistol away” as he “had an ugly dream about him.” Moreover, members of Lincoln’s cabinet recalled that, on the morning of his assassination, the president told them he’d dreamed of sailing across an unknown body of water at great speed. He also apparently revealed that he’d had the same dream repeatedly on previous occasions, before “nearly every great and important event of the War.” This story again points to Lincoln’s interest in the predictive power of dreams—but it doesn’t offer hard evidence that he foresaw his own death.

There are numerous cases throughout history involving dreams that seem to predict the future:

After the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, hundreds of people reported that they had dreams and premonitions of the ship’s demise. Nineteen of those experiences were authenticated.

MLK had a dream that seemed to predict his untimely death.

Mark Twain dreamed of his brother’s death 3 days before his brother was killed in a riverboat accident. The details of Twain’s dream and the actual event are strikingly similar.

I must confess, I just love celebrities. My guilty pleasure is losing myself in the onslaught of celebrity gossip blogs. I can waste so much time doing this! So I find it particularly fascinating when a celebrity talks about a dream he or she has had because there is nothing more revealing about a person than what they dream… especially a recurring dream!

Recently Taylor Swift opened up to Dave Barry of Capitol FM, a radio station in the UK. One of Taylor’s recurring dreams involves her being framed for murder! Taylor confessed, “I always have nightmares that I’m being framed for murder and then I’m being framed SO well that I can’t remember if I did it or not in the dream. So that really winds me up and then I’m just freaked out for the next couple of days.”

I think this little tidbit is VERY juicy! Without having the opportunity to personally talk with Taylor (interviewing the dreamer is the best way to figure out the meaning of the dream) this is my professional assessment:

Death in dreams is usually about something coming to an end in the dreamer’s life, typically a natural ending or change that is occurring. Murder is a forced death, therefor in dreams it is often about a forced ending in waking life. Now, what we all know – and quite frankly love – about Tay Tay, is that she goes through relationships like a bag of Lays potato chips. We love this about her because her break ups inspire her songs.

These recurrent break ups are likely the murders in her dreams. There is also confusion about whether she actually committed the murders or not; she is framed for the murders. This shows us that in real life, Taylor doesn’t feel she is at fault for the break up (a break up is a forced ending, like a murder is a forced death). But as time goes on, she probably questions herself, “Hmmm. Maybe I was too clingy or too demanding,” for example (she’s framed so well she can’t remember if she actually did murder). But here’s what’s sad about it guys, feeling that she is framed for murder in the dreams might mean in real life she feels used in relationships. She feels used over and over again because she has this same dream over and over again.

Doesn’t that just make you want to hug her tight and say, “There there Taylor. Now now.”?

This morning I was doing my weekly spot on 105.3 HOT FM in Grand Rapids when the hosts, Gravy and Rachael asked me about a story they saw in The National Enquirer, which states that comedian DANA CARVEY is telling pals he’s convinced there is life after death, because the spirit of his friend Robin Williams keeps appearing to him! Dana says of these encounters, “Robin comes to me usually in a lucid dream state or during my meditation,” Dana told a pal. “He’s as big as life, happy and joking around, and telling me I should never worry about anything because it’s all beautiful in the end… I go to bed with questions I want to ask Robin,” he divulged. “I’ll think about asking him about my kids’ careers and my health. When I wake up, I review those questions. The answers come to me in one of Robin’s character voices – it’s amazing!”

Wow.

Symbols for depression that show up in dreams

Gravy and Rachael wanted to know if our departed loved ones can communicate with us in our dreams. This is a question I am asked frequently, as well as one I wonder about myself. Science shows us that all energy travels in waves: light waves, sound waves, radio waves, etc. If consciousness continues to exist once the body has died (this has been neither proven nor dis proven) it would also travel in waves. If that is true, perhaps our brains are equipped to pick up on those waves. Our brains also work in waves and when we sleep, our brain wave patterns slow in frequency with each stage of sleep: alpha, beta, theta, etc. Perhaps the REM stage of sleep is that perfect frequency that acts like a radio and allows us to tune in to the conscious energy of the departed.

I’ve certainly had enough dreams reported to me and even had dreams of my own that sure seem like an actual encounter. Those dreams feel different than regular dreams. They are far more “real.” and one often still feels the presence of the loved one when awakening. Sometimes their perfume or cologne lingers.

Read my experience with a contact dream here.

Read my analysis of a very disturbing after-death dream here.

The thing about Dana Carvey’s dreams is that he has these experiences or encounters while in the lucid state, which is when you are in a dream and realize it is a dream. When we are in a lucid dream (not all of us can reach this state), our brain waves are operating in Gamma, which is the fastest frequency ever recorded. Operating from this frequency allows our brain to link and process information from multiple parts of the brain. We use more of our brain when we are experiencing lucid dreaming than we do when we are fully awake… which leads me to believe that perhaps lucidity or Gamma is the frequency where we can more easily tune in to those that have passed on. If it is ever proven to be conclusive, we may find that Gamma plays a role.

Psychologically speaking, Dana’s lucid experiences with Robin could merely be very deep self reflection. A recent study out of Germany found that a particular brain region known to be involved in self-reflection is larger in lucid dreamers. Dana did say that he asks Robin’s questions in his dreams about his kids, career, health, etc. In Dream Psychology, just about everything in your dream is symbolic of some part of the self. Robin could symbolize Dana’s own inner wisdom and through these lucid experiences he is having a deeply profound conversations with himself.

I suppose at this point in time, what it boils down to is taking all available research and experiences and forming your own opinion. Is Dana merely self reflecting or do you believe consciousness continues? Me? I choose to believe.

Whether it’s wandering the cinder blocked halls of your old high school with nothing on but your Nikes or catching your teeth as they fall out of your mouth one by one, we ALL get a certain dream over and over and over again. Even celebrities aren’t immune to the frustrating recurring dream! Read on and find out if your recurring dream is covered here and which celebrity shares that dream with you…

Teeth Falling Out
Lucky you! If you get this dream you share it with the gorgeous Halle Berry. This also means that you and Halle share the same recurring behavior of speaking before thinking. Teeth in dreams typically symbolize your words. If they fall out in a dream you can probably connect it to something you allowed out of your mouth, something you said that you wish you could take back or that you wish you had worded differently.

Plane Crashes
Not so lucky you. This is not a fun dream to have, but if this is your recurring dream you and Katie Couric have a lot in common. When I was a guest on her show back in April of 2013, she told me that she gets this dream quite a bit. Neither you nor Katie should cancel any travel plans because this dream is not showing you the future, instead it means you have suffered a big let down in your real life. Something you had high hopes for came crashing down instead… along with your spirits. Katie has suffered many let downs, which caused emotional crashes: She lost her husband to colon cancer, then her sister to pancreatic cancer. She lost her gig on the CBS Evening News just to name a few. If this is your recurring dream, try not to take things so hard. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep on keeping on. Like Katie, you’re a survivor!

Flying
Definitely lucky you! This is not only an awesome dream to experience again and again but you also share this dream with Anderson Cooper. Flying dreams happen when we are feeling really good about what is going on in our life, when we have reached a high goal we have set for our self or we are realizing our ability to reach higher levels in life and in career. In my research, I have found that adults who get recurring flying dreams are very high achievers. So if this is your dream, you and fellow high achiever Anderson Cooper should pat your selves on the back. Good job!

Running Late/Almost Missing A Bus or Plane
This one is soooo frustrating. If this is your recurring dream then you have a lot in common with Diane Sawyer. She gets this dream a lot because she is constantly up against deadlines, what with being a journalist and delivering the news every evening. You probably have a high pressured, heavy deadline job as well. If not, but you still get this dream, then you may be up against self imposed deadlines, such as losing 10 lbs by the time the reunion rolls around, having a spouse and kid by the time you’re 28 or reaching a career goal before the end of the year, etc. In either case, you may want to find a way to either take it easy or take the stress off yourself. Life is short, why live it in a pressure cooker?

Being Attacked
Gah! This one is so scary. But if this is your recurring dream, Madonna would probably love to compare notes with you over coffee because this is her recurring dream. More specifically, she is attacked by a dwarf with a knife! None the less, this dream suggests you are feeling victimized in real life. Is someone around you always putting you down and criticizing you? Or is this something you are constantly doing to yourself? If so, knock it off. Sheesh. You have to be kind to yourself in this life. As for Madonna, she faces a lot of criticism from the media and the public in general. While it may not bother her while she’s awake, it clearly bothers her while she sleeps. And the dwarf? That’s her fear of being dwarfed or diminished in the public eye. Let’s face it, she’s a BIG celebrity and she does everything in a BIG way. However, criticism does bring her ego down to size.

Old Victorian Houses
If you dream of old houses then you have this dream in common with Madonna’s pal Gwyneth Paltrow. Houses in dreams symbolize the self, one’s state of mind and self image. Like Gwyneth, you may be a bit old fashioned in some areas; perhaps you have very good etiquette and impeccable manners or you believe in marriage before sex. In Gwyneth’s Victorian house dreams, she finds herself in the house while the house is being swept away by a river. This tells us that Gwyneth, despite all her refinement, tends to let herself get carried away with various emotional issues. While she seems cool as a cucumber in public, she may not always be able to hold it together in private.

Naked in Public
If this is your recurring dream you may be hoping you share it with someone like Beyonce or George Clooney, right? Well… if this is your recurring dream you share it with Meat Loaf! This dream tells us that you and Meat both have recurring concern about how others view you, not necessarily how others view you physically but how they look at you as an artist (in Meat’s case) or how they see you as a professional in your career or how good of a mother you are, etc. Are they noticing your mistakes? Do they not see you as highly as you would like them to? Did they see how nervous you were when you were giving that presentation in front of the board? In Meat Loaf’s dream, he’s actually naked on top of a bus. In your naked dreams, where are you?

Losing Your Purse or Wallet
You might be pleasantly surprised to know Mariah Carey gets this dream too. If this is your recurring dream then you and Mariah also share the fact that you suffer an identity crisis from time to time. We keep our money, credit cards and IDs in our purses and wallets so they will symbolize our self worth, our sense of self and the credibility we feel we deserve. To lose a purse or wallet in a dream means you feel you are either losing a sense of who you are, you are feeling worthless or you are not getting credit where credit is due. Mariah has mentioned many times that growing up biracial caused her to feel out of place so it makes sense that she would dream of trying to find her purse because she was always searching for identity, a sense of belonging and feeling valued.

Drowning
Do you wake up gasping for air after a drowning dream? So does Star Jones! Drowning dreams can be caused by a number of things: Depression, being overwhelmed with responsibility or even Sleep Apnea! If you wake up gasping for breath A LOT, then go to your doctor and get checked for Sleep Apnea, okay? But if you get the drowning dream frequently and don’t always wake up gasping for breath, then odds are it is connected to depression or feeling very overwhelmed. Star told me she was having this dream when I was on The View back in ’04. At the time she was in the midst of planning a wedding, being a host on The View and doing red carpet reports for E! News so I chalked it up to being overwhelmed.

Choking
This one can also be caused by Sleep Apnea if you get it a lot and wake up gasping. But if you don’t wake from this dream gasping then you will be happy to know you share this dream with Celine Dion! Choking happens in the throat and the throat is where our voice comes from so to choke in a dream can mean you have a hard time speaking up in real life. You may tend to choke back your words rather than voicing your opinion. For Celine, she chokes on a cold apple in her dreams! This makes sense because her voice is AMAZING and it is how she makes her living; it has been very “fruitful” for her, hence the apple. Any singer will tell you they must “warm up” their voices before a performance so a voice going cold, like the cold apple, would be a nightmare! For Celine, these dreams are reminding her to take it easy on her voice so she doesn’t choke during a performance.

Murder
Hard to believe that America’s sweetheart has recurring dreams of being a murderer, isn’t it? And if this is your recurring dream it may not make you feel much better knowing that Taylor Swift gets it too, huh? Well fear not. To murder in a dream usually isn’t a bad thing. It means you have successfully put an end to something in real life. In Taylor’s dreams, the murder doesn’t actually take place but rather she has knowledge that she has murdered someone, “I always have nightmares that I’m being framed for murder and then I’m being framed SO well that I can’t remember if I did it or not in the dream. So that really winds me up and then I’m just freaked out for the next couple of days.”

Why do you keep murdering in your dreams? It may be that you have a recurring behavior of putting an end to things as well. Are you the type that tends to sabotage a good thing because deep down you feel you aren’t worthy? Or are you the type that nips things in the bud before they get out of hand? It could also be that there is one ongoing situation that needs to end but you haven’t fully accomplished it yet. In a nutshell, recurring murder dreams don’t mean you are a homicidal maniac but rather someone who ends things… whether those endings are good for you or not is a whole other story!

While it’s fun to find out which celebrity has the same recurring dream as you, it’s important that you know why we get recurring dreams. In my research I have found that they are caused by two main factors: 1. A recurring behavior pattern, whenever you exhibit the behavior you get the dream connected to it. 2. An ongoing issue that has yet to be resolved. For as long as the issue continues, so will the dream. Look at your dreams as if they were your mother, nagging you to death about an issue or behavior who only wants the best for you but won’t stop until you finally correct it. Except in some cases, like the recurring flying dream, as that is more of a high five from your subconscious mind than a nag.

Happy Birthday John Lennon. Today John Lennon would be 73 years old! Like most artists, he was very much inspired by his dreams. In fact his hit Dream #9, which ironically peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 list in 1974, was inspired by a dream. In an interview on the BBC in 1980 John said of his inspiration for the song…

“That’s what I call craftsmanship writing, meaning, you know, I just churned that out. I’m not putting it down, it’s just what it is, but I just sat down and wrote it, you know, with no real inspiration, based on a dream I’d had.”

According to John’s partner at the time, May Pang, the lyrics to the chorus “Ah! böwakawa poussé, poussé” came to him in a dream…

“This was one of John’s favorite songs, because it literally came to him in a dream. He woke up and wrote down those words along with the melody. He had no idea what it meant, but he thought it sounded beautiful. John arranged the strings in such a way that the song really does sound like a dream. “

So on September 17th, just 3 days ago, Madonna did one of those “ask me anything” threads on Reddit. Someone on the thread asked her what was the last thing that made her laugh. Well, it just so happened to be a dream! Here is what she said: “Brad Pitt and I were living together and there was a small blonde child in the bed. Sorry Angelina, it was only a dream.”

Let’s break this down, shall we? Pay attention because, as I break down Madonna’s dream I am going to give you some really good tips on how to figure out your own dreams. Here we go…

Madonna was living with Brad Pitt. That means that Brad Pitt symbolizes something Madonna has been living with lately or perhaps symbolizes HOW she has been living lately.

When you have a celebrity in your dream you need to find the common thread between you and that celebrity. Most of the time it will be a movie they have been in that seems to fit your life right now or maybe a character they have played that you can connect with. If the celebrity is a singer or musician you may find particular meaning for yourself in the title or lyrics of one of their songs.

I don’t have Madonna here to ask her what movie or role comes to mind when she thinks of Brad Pitt so what I can do is apply a general meaning. In my research I have found that, in the last few years, Brad Pitt has come to represent fatherhood. I mean, he has a gazillion kids now. And like Madonna, they have both adopted and had children of their own. That’s quite a common thread! Madonna does not live with the fathers of her children so she has to play Mom and Dad when they are with her. So it makes sense that she is living with Brad because she has to live with playing the role of Dad.

There was a small blonde child in the bed.

Unknown children in dreams can represent something newish in your life OR can represent your own inner child, the part of you that is carefree and fun loving and alternatively the part of you that is childish and needs to grow up. Hmmm. Again without Madonna here to ask if she’s been acting childish in some way (good or bad) I can only go by what I know of her. I think we all know she is extremely driven and a pretty hardcore workaholic. She may not let her inner child out to play much. But now that she’s got all these kids, just like Brad does, perhaps she is beginning to know her inner child more. It also important that the child was blonde.

Hair in a dream often symbolizes your thoughts and ideas or what is on your mind. Blonde hair in a dream would suggest one is lightening up in their thoughts or becoming more positive. Perhaps Madonna is beginning to lighten up in some way. I’ve read that she’s pretty strict with the kids, just as she is strict with herself: no TV, no sugar, no iphones, etc. Maybe she’s beginning to play more, have fries once in a while, etc.

The dream certainly seems positive. And if Madonna were here and I were her dream therapist, I would tell her that her dream is showing her she needs to let her fun-loving care free self continue to grow and develop. She’s spent the majority of her life on strict regimens and working, working working… time to play.

Want to be able to break your dreams down and easily find the message like I did with Madonna’s dream? You can! It’s not that hard. When you can figure out your dreams, it’s not only fun, it’s powerful! A world of clarity and answers can be available to you every single morning! My latest book Dream On It will teach you how the dreaming mind works, how the different types of dreams we get are connected to the different parts of you, how to find the answers in your dreams and so much more. It also includes my 10 Must Know Rules to understanding your dreams and has a dream dictionary in the back. It’s very thorough and you will be thankful, day after day that you have it!!

“I found myself unable to put this book down. If it weren’t for other responsibilities, I know I wouldn’t have. After reading Dream On It, I feel more in the know. I feel I have a better understanding of what I have always felt I had no understanding of. It’s nice to know that there truly is meaning behind what our brain is showing us when we sleep. I suggest reading this book… not just once, but twice atleast. A great reference tool! I have all of Lauri’s books. This is by far my favorite!” – T. Seabolt (Amazon reviewer)

We all know Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I have A Dream” speech, but what you may not know is that Dr. King had an actual, nighttime, REM dream that seemed eerily prophetic!

According to a documentary on The History Channel, on January 15, 1968, during his 39th birthday party, King told his aide Dorothy Cotton a dream he had the night before…

“I had died and no one was there. I yelled to Ralph Abernathy (a minister, civil rights leader and close friend to King), Ralph, bring those people standing there over here.”

Was this dream warning him of what was to become a reality only two and a half months later? No one can say for sure, but what is a fact is that other notable figures who made huge waves in history had dreams of their own deaths only weeks beforehand, Elvis, Princess Diana and Abraham Lincoln, just to name a few.

What is telling about Dr. King’s dream, is that he seemed to know that he would die before his dream of racial equality would be realized, which is why, in the dream, he asks his close friend and fellow civil rights leader to finish the job by “Bringing those people standing there, over here.”

We use the term “where someone stands” when referring to their point of view on an issue. Bringing “those people who stand over there – who have a different standpoint than King’s – over here” is all about King’s hope that one day all of humanity would stand together.

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. ” –Martin Luther King, Jr.

That’s a hard one to shake, huh? “Pretty Girl Rock” singer Keri Hilson, recently revealed in an interview with FUSE TV that she has that dream quite a bit. You can watch her talk about it in the video below. After the ad, she starts talking about it at the 1:40 mark…

Wonder what it means when you dream of the end of the world? Well read on, dahlings and find out! The following is from the Nightmare chapter of my latest book Dream On It, Unlock Your Dreams Change Your Life…

The book of Revelations, to Nostradamus’ predictions to movies like The Day After, it’s no wonder that when we get an “end of the world” dream we wonder if we are actually seeing the future demise of our planet! Thankfully, nothing could be farther from the truth. End of the world dreams are very common and come to us when our own personal world, as we now know it, is ending or changing. I’m sure you’re starting to see a theme here, changes and endings seem to cause nightmares. Keep in mind, it is only the changes and endings that we resist or that we fear that induce nightmares. As far as end of the world dreams, the change or ending is much more vast and encompasses a massive part of your life.

I dreamed that I was outdoors watching some sporting event. All of a sudden, missiles began dropping from the sky and one exploded right on top of us! I knew this was Armageddon. I felt the explosion ripple through my body and I literally felt my body dissolve. I also heard the sound very loudly, but did not wake up until it was over. It FELT so real! – Christina 25

Lauri: What sort of major shift or change is happening in your life? Your body disintegrated because there must be some major physical changes happening with you. Sometimes explosions in dreams can indicate an emotional explosion is about to happen. It is a warning that if you don’t get rid of certain stresses or frustrations or angers in your life, you are likely to have a serious emotional outburst. Whatever the case, this dream seems to be an indicator that your personal world around you is undergoing massive change… let’s hope it’s a change for the better!

Christina replies: I did just have a baby and I was having the dream BEFORE the baby came! We also just moved into a new house at the first of this month. So what you said about my personal world undergoing massive change makes sense.

A new baby and a new home are substantial changes, yet positive ones, so why the nightmare? As any first time Mom will tell you, a new baby is scary! So many things to worry about: am I going to be a good mom? What is this going to do to my body? Is labor going to really hurt? Is my baby going to be healthy? Your world changes when you become a parent for the first time… and it’s scary because it’s the biggest undertaking of your life. Your world no longer revolves around you. Through this dream Christina’s inner mind bid adieu to the world, and body, she left behind.

Our own personal worlds are the reality that revolves around us; it consists of the people who are immediately around us such as spouses, children, co-workers and best friends. Our daily or repetitive surroundings such as our home, place of work, favorite hangout, place of worship or gym and our daily and repetitive behaviors, beliefs and self-image. When any of these areas change dramatically, or is essentially wiped out to the point that serious and focused adjustment is required, an end of the world dream is likely to occur. It is the way the inner mind says, “Well, that’s the end of that.”

The nightmare chapter of Dream On It also covers Being Chased, Falling, Your Death, Death of a Loved One, Murder, Trapped, End of the World, Zombies, Blood, and Paralysis

“Here’s what I love about this book: its not a boring dream dictionary. It gives you a very intuitive slant on dreams. I have given this book out many times and its a GREAT GIFT… and its really great for those hard-to-find a gift occasions. It also makes a great hostess gift, Mother’s Day gift…etc… BECAUSE EVERYONE DREAMS! However, I have always wanted a thoughtful gift to give to people when life gets tough (flowers are so meh) and this is the perfect fit! I travel quite frequently and always end up in a lively discussion on the plane when I pull out this book.”

The unfamiliar house dream is actually a very common dream. You see, the house – whether it’s your actual house, a house you used to live in or some random dream house – represents YOU! The house in your dream represents everything about you and how you live. The style of the home, the condition of the home, what happens in the home, even the rooms in the home are connected to you and how you feel about your self as well as what is going on inside the psyche that your body houses. The dreaming mind uses the home in order to show you yourself and your state of mind in the form of a physical structure so you can better understand your own personality construct, thought construct and even body construct. Look at your house dreams as an honest blueprint of your current self image.

In most cases, dreaming of an unfamiliar house suggests the dreamer is still getting to know her or himself and is discovering things about themselves they didn’t previously know, like discovering new talents, skills, opinions or ideas. Dave Grohl, being a musician and song writer, it would make sense that he’s constantly coming up with new ideas and opinions. However, the unfamiliar house dream can also mean that you are not feeling “at home” in your current life, that what you are dealing with or where your life is at is not comfortable or what you you think it should be. This could also fit for Dave because in that same US Weekly article he states that he’s been touring almost every year since he was 17. He literally isn’t “at home” a good portion of each year so his life is made up of unfamiliar places.

“Love this book! It’s very informative.” – Dianne Guiberson (Amazon reviewer)

Lauri Loewenberg is a certified dream analyst. What’s more is that she’s celebrity-crazy, just like the rest of us. Through radio spots and appearances on shows like “The View,” “Good Morning America,” “Today Show” and “Anderson Cooper 360,” and the release of three dream books, Loewenberg has become a staple as the dream dissector of the stars. Ultimately, she says, “I wake people up to the power of their dreaming minds and use it to empower them in their lives.” Now, Lauri dishes on the fascinating, and often freaky dreams of some of Hollywood’s biggest names.

Who:Gwyneth PaltrowThe Dream: “This one tells us a lot about her personality. She’s in this old Victorian beach house, a beautiful setting. But suddenly, the house starts moving, and she realizes that it’s being swept away by the water.”What it Means: “A house in a dream represents you – your personal construct, the dwelling place of your psyche. This shows that Gwyneth has an old soul; she has traditional values and a more mature way of handling life. The house gets swept away by the water, so she probably gets this dream whenever something in her life is threatening her and carrying her away emotionally.”
