In reply to Joe Allen. I have this same exact dream all the time. I’m 46. But I’m much heavier and out of shape to be playing football and basketball but I’m always trying to get in shape for the season. But the games never happen. I end up going to work to go make money somehow before the season begins.

I have variations of the Back at SChool Dream. The most memorable one was when I showed up to my high school science class on the last day after skipping all year, and when I walk in, Norm from Cheers is sitting in my seat, playing a xylophone with one hand and with a bag of Cheetos in his lap. I dream often that instead of walking, I skate through the halls but without skates…I can just zip and twirl with no problems. I also used to dream all the time about going back to school because I was bored and wanted to…just for something to do. Other times, I don’t want to and I keep telling myself “What am I doing here?! I already graduated!”

I am 62, and since I was at least in my 30’s I have had frequent dreams of either going out for my old high school football team, or going back to Army basic training. And I am my current age while attempting these endeavors; if you can imagine a 62 year old man with a bad back trying to do these. These dreams actually leave me laughing a little bit when I wake up in the morning. Though I am not an expert on the subject I more or less chalk these up to a couple of things I (maybe subconsciously) wish I could go back and do again.

I keep having a dream of being back in school, but I know I already graduated and I dont need to take these classes. But I dont say anything about it. Some dreams I dont do homework or show up to class, but then realize Im not going to be in trouble because I had already graduated so its not a big deal. This is a common dream I have over and over again. The worry that I am not doing my work but then the realization of the fact I already graduated. Used to get this dream at least once a week. Now its once a month. Just weird. This also includes playing football and its always high school. Never elementary, middle school or college.

The schools you have not seen are at a higher level.It means is an encouraging one.It is talking about the future that you must prepare yourself for.You must be trained for.eg New ideas to handle certain issues. The old school is also there as a past thing.You were to deal with something at that level but you just run from it and swept it under the carpet.It comes back to you because you have not payed attention to certain things.You are not prepared.

Your high school represents a place of learning that you have passed through in real life.Going for exams means you are getting ready to complete.

This dream is talking about your life.There is the need to upgrade yourself for the next level possibly a promotion at work or any other venture.However you seems not prepared because of FEAR in the unknown.
What subject are you going to write and did you like that subject at school?
The second dream is also talking about the same preparation thing.
