I dreamt that someone gave me a handful of shells and walked away when I opened my hand there was a large half white half green pearl I walked to the table and looked at it again and there was another large green pearl. I sat in the chair to think it through and sat on a large beautiful seed I looked to the left as my son got up and there was also a large beautiful brown seed in his chair. I have been writing down my vivid dreams for decades! As a writer and an artist, I always made a sketch of the characters and actions involved in my dreams. I’m writing full-time now, and have been experiencing lucid dreams that wake me, and yes, I’m aware I’m dreaming, so I’m patient enough to wait, then wake myself and write the words on a notebook next to my bed. Most vivid dreams are “writing” dreams…dreams that show me a new character, and even dialogue! I’m wondering if this is a “thing”…have you heard of writers who actually read and write and their dreams, and know when to wake themselves to record the information for the novel they are writing?
