I have a recurring dream of driving off of a bridge. The first time my daughter was driving us with her two boys in the back with their seatbelts on. I remember turning around to make sure they we strapped in their car seats. All the dreams after that I’m driving alone. I’m always calm as my car is almost floating on its decent. Suddenly, I wake before I hit the water.

Im 16 and Im currently in Galveston. I drove here from Houston. I had a dream that my great grandma who is deceased was driving me, my parents, and my little brother. She was speeding and she just kept going even faster once we got on the bridge. A part of me knew what was about to happen and another part of me didn’t want to accept it. Then she drove off the bridge into the water. At first I was panicking but the first thing I thought was to get my little brother out. While doing that I blacked out. I then wake up to my body close to shore and my little brother standing on the beach smiling. My parents were right behind me. I then look back at my brother to see a huge tsunami getting ready to hit. Then I woke up.

I had a dream last night that my boyfriend and I was driving across a bridge. I was in the driver seat and he was in the passenger seat. We were admiring the cruise ships that were going by and talking about trips we wanted to take, and all of a sudden while driving I could see the water and then as I continued to drive I noticed that there was a chunk of the bridge missing but by then it was too late. We went head first into the water. My window was already down so I crawled out and three guys that was working on the bridge below jumped in and helped my boyfriend out of the water because he couldn't swim. We both survived but then I woke up with a migraine.

I had a dream where I was behind a car, on a bridge. I had to be in the closest side to the bridge because there was this HUGE red tower, like a beacon or lighthouse & it was red red red, all over. As I’m creeping behind the car in front of me, I take a second to look at this huge thing & im like why is this here??? The second I look back, I see that there is no more bridge & I am already going over. In my mind I said I won’t watch myself fall to my death. So I closed my eyes & repeated Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus, the dream cut right before I hit the water. Then I just remember waking up to the sound of my alarm. But there was a second where the dream cut & everything was black & then I woke up. Didn’t wake up angry or upset, I just woke up.

Hello, glad I came across this post and thread. I am pregnant going to be a single mom IRL. Last night I had a dream I was going over the SF bridge and my coworker was taking the turns super fast. It looked like we were going to make the jump to the second bridge and we missed, my coworker looks at me terrified and apologizes profusely. I knew we were going down, I told her it's done now. I looked down to my pregnant belly and just holding my baby and saying how much I love him and that we were going to be okay no matter what, this wasn't the end for us. We missed the water and were about to hit the docks by the Oakland side. As the impact was made, I "woke" back up to an earlier part of my dream. I was terrified saying how baby and I just went off a bridge in my coworkers car and my other coworker was like that was a daydream but it all felt like major deja vu, the dream continued and then I woke up in real life and was in awe. Surprised it didn't trigger lucidity but it felt so real. Each aspect of the dream was vivid and feels like a memory. Dream reflecting how this is a big transition in my life and I am very emotional with my hormones and I am worried but I know I can handle it. I also have had a history with bridge dreams so this is a common theme for me when going through changes and growth.

Recently I had a dream that I was driving my car around a curved bridge and was going too fast and I lost control of the car and drove off the bridge. Just barely missed the river below. I was fine but my car was slightly damaged and I started driving it trying to get home. But every time I Would try to turn a certain way to get on the road I would lose control of the vehicle. But the other way I did fine.

When I was about 4 years old I had a dream that I was riding in the backseat of a car with my niece and nephew. My mom and sister were in the front seat. She suddenly slammed on the brakes, they got out and flung the seats forward and pulled out my sisters kids. I leaned forward to see what was wrong and the car was teetering on the edge of a bridge and then it goes over and I wake up panicked. I had the same dream almost weekly until I was 12. The last time I had it was one week before the Skyway disaster which happened right near me with a bridge just like the one in my dreams. I never had that dream again. Now however I have dreams where I am driving and not paying attention and drive off a incomplete bridge or onto the roof of a building that was near a road and had the same slope. Again because I was not paying attention.

I was worried I cannot open the doors when we will hit the water.
