My theory is what if they are one in the same? The imaginary, dream state, and lasting consciouness all in one? What if they become imaginary? I think it's hard for people to comprehend how something as complex as the mind just suddenly stops existing, as well as all of the love they had for people.

Even pets! Either i heard and didn't remember consciusly or something else happened. I had an experience where i was in sleep paralysis and in between being awake and sleeping, and I knew my guinea pig, oreo, had passed on. i knew because he was levetating right over my head, and we were talking, like we could undersand each other (think Dr. Dolittle). The same with 2 cats who had to be put into a perpetual state of sleep.

I say they become imaginary, and the reason is due to the dream connection. Why is it they seem only able to present themselves and to communicate with those they have ben around or been exposed to most often and not the scientists whom could easily confrim life (or consciousness at least) continues after their depature?

Perhaps those others are not able to fully catch on because they do not have much, if nothing at all to base it on.

Also when you stop missing someone or trying to make contact, it's in a way like an imaginary friend. You stop wanting, you stop needing, you stop remembering, and they drop out of sight…yet they are still there…

Also did you know that certain regions of the brain (much like REM sleep, and the same areas as well) are MORE active while in the last stages of life during a near death expeience compared to the similarly identicle dream (lucid or non lucid) stages than while awake? Why would their be MORE brain activity the closer to death than while we are at our highest peak of awareness in the fully living state?

Think about that………………
