I am well aware that our moods (including Post Partum Depression) can be caused by nutritional deficiencies, or reduced/cured with some healthy eating and sometimes supplements such as L-tyrosine, L-dopa (not the medication , but the velvet bean extract) etc. I wonder if in some cases the dreaming mind knows it doesn't have to do, or cannot be fixed with diet, therefor, nothing dietary comes up in a dream...either that or the dreamer doesn't know that a simple alteration in diet can help. Though, even if the dreamer has no idea about how medications and supplements work in the brain (and their differences, side effects etc) the dreaming mind can tell us these things because the dreaming mind knows what the body needs!

If it needs more omega 3 oils or minerals, it may tell you to eat more shellfish. If it's more protein, your dreaming mind might have you switching from a low protein or complete protein diet to a lean meat eating machine. Or if it's vitamins, your dreaming mind might equate to fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds etc. However, if the dreamer has NO idea about the powerful food/mood connection, will they still dream about things they are lacking in diet (or getting too much of) to help with their depression, anger issues etc even if it is unknown by the dreamer?

I've also heard that some drugs (even "anti anxiety" and "anti depressant" drugs) can cause nightmares. Would you consider this an outside interference dream or the dreaming mind telling you "This isn't helping! This so-called anti depressant isn't what you need! Wake up and do something else!"-BTW I laughed out loud typing that!

In this case, I think her dreaming mind is letting her know that this is something that might be changed just by expressing it, not exclusively by dietary means. I did ask a similar question before so I'm sorry if I'm repeating myself, but what is your thought on this?

Also, I'm hoping to get another call in to you. I've had two consecutive vampire nightmares...and quite an interesting one about YOU! :) It's one I'd rather keep private...
