I finally got to read the email about the candidate dreams.

I'm disheartened to be honest.

Even though the majority of people are dreaming Obama, the fact that some are marrying (although a resigned commitment) McCain seems to be forecasting the outcome of the election.

I do, however, very much appreciate you and your readers sharing. That is how we all learn about dreams, even when what we are learning isn't what we would prefer.

By the way, I hope I'm wrong. :)

I just want to encourage all of my fellow dreamers that I believe the owners of this blog want us to focus on our dreams rather than engaging in political arguments. I'd much prefer to read about your dreams and how they affect your day to day life than to hear my friends here start taking sides against each other because of their political differences. If you want to argue politics, there are tens of thousands of web sites and news groups for you to do that. I'd prefer to see this one stay on the topic of dreaming and I'd also like to see people rise above the gutter feeding of political attacks against each other. I accept the fact that people I like, love, and care about will be voting differently than I will. It will not change, ONE INFITESIMAL amount of how much I still care for them and it shouldn't for anyone else here. So, do you think you can resist the urge to push your own political agendas here? This is a place where we all have a similar interest in our dreams, not a place to hunt for differences and push apart. Just because this blog is about politics in dreams doesn't mean that you're supposed to start arguing your own politics. I believe the intent is to post your amusing (or disturbing) dreams that are *RELATED* to politics. Of course, it's usually important to know which way your voting, but I'm not at all interested in reading political speeches or seeing anyone trying to pursuade me to vote their way... at least, not in THIS forum on THIS web site. I, myself, am a (not gunna tell you!:) supporter, but I have friends and family voting for (the other guy). That's fine. I'm not going to post any articles here trying to convince anyone here to vote "my way".

McCain has done so much for this country. Have you seen the video of him after he was released as a prisoner? He's in so much pain and he's near tears talking about his family. Obama hasn't done anything and has almost no experience. Even Palin has served as a governor and balanced budgets. McCain was one of the senators trying to warn the congressional democrats, back in 04 that the housing market would crash if they didn't start regulating lenders but the democrats refused to do anything. Maybe your dream was trying to tell you Obama is "over-hyped" like the over ripe corn?

I saw a real tv show that negatively spoke of Obama supporting farm sudsidies, and I felt unure then about all my knowledge of politics and how they worked. I dreamed this: I was looking at an ear of overripe tough corn. Some of the kernals were solid black; I guess rotten. I could taste the yellow kernals, they were too tough. When I awoke, I saw Obama's face.
I am voting for Obama.
